Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Technical Architect with 15+ years of software engineering/architecture experience, including 6+ years in Technical/Solution Architecture within banking, commercial lending, collateral, or credit platforms.
Lead the architecture of a modern, cloud-native collateral management platform replacing legacy/vendor technology. The platform will be API-first, event-driven, modular, microservices-based , and integrated with loan origination, loan servicing, risk, customer, and document systems.
Key Responsibilities
Define end-to-end architecture for collateral services, workflows, APIs, events, data, UI, and integration layers.
Design microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), API-first and event-driven architectures .
Lead integrations with AFS, ACBS, Loan IQ, nCino , credit risk, customer master, and document platforms.
Define collateral data models, data quality, reconciliation, migration, coexistence, and legacy decommissioning strategies.
Establish security, IAM, RBAC, encryption, audit, resilience, scalability, DR, and observability standards.
Define CI/CD, DevSecOps, testing, cloud, and Kubernetes strategies.
Provide technical leadership to onsite/offshore engineering teams and drive architecture governance.
Partner with business and collateral SMEs to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Support phased delivery covering core collateral controls, automation, and future AI/ML capabilities.
Required Qualifications
15+ years of software engineering/architecture experience.
6+ years as a Technical Architect or Solution Architect .
Banking, commercial lending, collateral, or credit-platform experience strongly preferred.
Strong Java/Spring Boot or .NET , REST/GraphQL, Kafka, microservices, DDD, and event-driven architecture experience.
Experience with AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native architecture .
Strong data architecture experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server , including ETL/ELT and reconciliation.
Experience with legacy/COTS platform migration and phased cutover.
Strong knowledge of IAM, SSO, OAuth 2.0, encryption, secrets management, and audit logging .
Excellent stakeholder communication and architecture governance experience.
Preferred
Drools, Camunda, or Pega experience.
Collateral platforms such as STOC or Broadridge COLLATE .
Angular or React experience.
AI/ML exposure, particularly intelligent document processing or predictive monitoring.
TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes certifications.
