Technical AssemblerFull-time job opportunity for an experienced Technical Assembler to join a furniture manufacturer in the Grand Rapids area. This company is a leading manufacturer of Automation Components and Equipment and they are looking for a mechanical assembler to join their team.Technical Assembler Requirements:Efficiently bring materials to and from the workstations to keep production runningAssembling using blueprintsAbility to prioritize workKeep the warehouse clean and organizedAbility to measure correctly while using various saws, mills, and drill press machinesComfortable with hand and power toolsAssisting in the fabrication processWilling to cross-train in all areas as neededSchedule & Pay:1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm Monday - Friday with overtime as needed$20.00/HRTechnical Assembler Qualifications:Excellent attendance and be flexible with the work schedule to meet business needs1-2 years of assembly/fabrication/machine building experienceKnowledge of using a variety and hand and power toolsAble to multitaskExcellent attention to detailLifting up to 50 poundsAbility to stand for the duration of the shiftAbility to occasionally walk, bend, crouch, kneelHigh school diploma or GED
