Employees have the opportunity to build products that support the global aerospace industry while developing valuable technical skills.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Enjoy a consistent four-day workweek with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off most weeks.Paid breaks are provided throughout the shift to support employee well-being and productivity.Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry while developing valuable technical skills.Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Technical Assembler Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 19.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Thursday from 06:00am to 04:00pm)Assemble electrical and mechanical components using blueprints, work instructions, and diagrams.Use hand tools, power tools, drill presses, and riveters to complete assembly tasks.Measure parts and assemblies using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.Technical Assembler Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Previous experience in electrical or mechanical assembly is preferred; experience with precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers is highly desired.Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for safety and training purposes.Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift and lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening, including a physical assessment, medical evaluation, and job simulation testing.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
