Technical Director / Producer for TV News Production

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Television Production, or equivalent related experience
Five or more years of professional experience in television production and directing
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proven leadership ability with experience motivating and directing production crews
Excellent judgment and timely decision-making in a fast-paced, live news environment
Strong foundational knowledge of video and audio production equipment
Experience calling direct using Ross Overdrive or equivalent automated production systems
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Working knowledge of:
NRCS
Video servers
Graphics playout systems
Video routers and switchers
ENG-style cameras
Robotic cameras
Wireless lav microphones
Audio boards
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and pressure
Strong team collaboration skills
Demonstrated creativity and innovative thinking
Must be willing to perform additional duties as assigned
