Technical Lead – Full Stack / AWS Location: Charlottesville, VA or McLean, VA
Work Type: Full-Time Onsite at either location (Travel to Charlottesville required)

Job Description
Seeking a senior Tech Lead / Key Personnel to support complex software development, cloud, cybersecurity, and technical integration initiatives in a classified environment. The ideal candidate will combine strong full-stack development, hands-on AWS expertise, technical leadership, and systems integration experience, with AWS SME-level knowledge strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Lead technical teams and complex initiatives across software engineering, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, networking, and systems integration
Design, develop, and integrate full-stack applications in a classified environment
Develop using Java, JavaScript, Python, React, and Node.js
Design, configure, and support AWS environments, including RDS and EC2/Elastic Compute
Provide technical guidance on cloud architecture, application development, infrastructure, and system integration
Support complex cloud, standalone, multi-classification, and high-performance computing (HPC) environments
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and oversee technical execution from planning through completion
Communicate technical requirements, solutions, risks, and recommendations to technical and leadership audiences
Identify opportunities to improve information systems processes and technical integration
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with CI Poly
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5+ years of relevant experience
Strong full-stack software development experience in a classified environment
Hands-on experience with AWS, RDS, and EC2/Elastic Compute
Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, React, and Node.js
Demonstrated technical leadership and systems integration experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Have Qualifications
AWS SME-level expertise and/or AWS certifications
Experience with HPC environments or integrations
IT networking experience
Experience with multi-classification environments and standalone systems
Cloud architecture and large-scale systems integration experience
Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI CI Poly clearance is required.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
