The Technical Program Manager will assist in leading a team of Infrastructure Engineering Organization and interface with Program Management. The successful candidate for the TPM is to champion planning, coordination, monitoring network performance and communication of the multidisciplinary/cross-functional team responsible for delivering a defined subsystem, products, and/or services as directed by the Integrated Product Team Lead.
Job Responsibilities:
Establish/maintain project management processes to facilitate the successful execution and management of infrastructure related projects.
More often responsible for the Technical Documentation, Data Centre Infrastructure, Service Delivery SLA and Service Delivery Change Management
TPM should have Expertise in Edge Data Centre, Edge Network, POP, Telecommunication, Telco, CDN, Fibre Networking or Fibre Optics Networking and Compliance Management
Must have experience Service Desk Support, Network Operations Centre (NOC) Support
Working at Data Centres like, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, eBay, Amazon / AWS or similar Data Center provider
Participate as Data Center Operations Manager for Global Operations Support, Field Repair Service, Global Onsite Deployments Support and Reverse RMA Logistics
Should have hands on Network Equipment Repair, Data Center, LAN &WAN Network.
Job Requirements: Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
Ability to set up and configure server hardware
Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
Education: Engineering College Degree
Certifications/Expertise: Cisco, Juniper
5+ Years working at a data center (his job title must say "technical project manager")
15+ Years IT Infrastructure technologies Experience
ITIL, PMP, CCNA, DCIM, CCIE Certification is plus
