The Technical Project Manager (TPM) role is established within the Product Operations sub-department to resolve these challenges. By serving as the operational connective tissue across squads, the TPM ensures that multi-team technical programs are planned with rigor, executed with agility, and delivered with predictability. This role is essential for accelerating program velocity, resolving structural friction points, and keeping our R&D teams highly aligned with overall business outcomes and customer success.
The Technical Project Manager is a dynamic, highly visible execution leader within impact.com's Product & Technology division. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Product Operations, this individual takes end-to-end operational ownership of cross-functional technical programs from inception to post-launch evaluation.
The TPM is a "player-coach" of process and program execution. They act as a trusted partner to engineering managers, product leads, and UX designers, using Agile and Scrum methodologies to keep highly complex, multi-team efforts on track.
