Technical Project Manager - Crisis Management
Insight Global, Bentonville, AR.
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager specializing in crisis management to join our team. The candidate will have a strong engineering background and experience in technical project management and will report to the two PMs overseeing the Tax Modernization Initiative.
Responsibilities
Crisis Management: Address and resolve issues related to project delays and budget overruns.
Program Management: Oversee the Tax Modernization Initiative, ensuring high communication and transparency.
Detail-Oriented: Dive into details to find solutions and ensure project success.
Enterprise Tech Projects: Manage enterprise-level tech projects or implementations, particularly in retail systems and item catalogs.
Engineering Resources: Work with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, ETL specialists, infrastructure teams, and data pipelining experts.
Stakeholder Communication: Handle strong stakeholder communication and management, balancing competing pressures.
Agile Methodology: Utilize Agile practices (Kanban or Scrum) to manage projects effectively.
Project Planning: Use WRIKE for program planning and SDLC management.
Flexibility: Adapt to building various models, each with unique requirements.
Tax Technologies: Exposure to and understanding of tax technologies is a plus.
Skills and Requirements
Proven experience in managing technical projects or programs.
Experience with enterprise-level tech projects or implementations.
Experience dealing with AI/ML engineers and data scientists.
Strong skills in managing stakeholder relationships.
Experience working in sprint cycles (Kanban or Scrum).
Proficiency in using WRIKE for program planning.
Familiarity with AI/ML technologies.
Experience with item catalog or retail systems.
Exposure to infrastructure engineering, particularly data pipelining.
Knowledge of tax technologies.
