Job description
Technical Project Manager, Connected Devices & Integrations
About Embrava
Embrava connects digital systems with the physical spaces where people work, making information visible and actionable the moment it matters. Our products include Blynclight, Desk Sign, Room Sign, and Any Sign. We support more than 15,000 customers across 32 countries from our offices in the US, UK, and Australia. As we grow, we're looking for a Technical Project Manager to help us bring connected hardware and software together, from planning through customer go-live.
The Role
You'll own end-to-end delivery of initiatives where hardware meets software: product rollouts, integrations with the platforms our customers already use, and customer deployments. You'll be the main point of coordination between Engineering, Product, Operations, customers, and vendors. You'll keep projects on track and flag risks early.
What You'll Do
Lead planning and delivery of connected-device initiatives, from new product and firmware rollouts to integrations with collaboration, room booking, and desk booking platforms
Manage customer implementations and go-lives: scope the rollout, coordinate on-site or remote deployments, and make sure devices, software, and customer systems work together on day one
Work directly with Engineering on scope and feasibility for APIs, networking, and system integrations, and turn technical requirements into clear plans and workstreams
Build and maintain roadmaps and schedules across multiple projects at once, tracking milestones, dependencies, and resources
Coordinate internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors, including manufacturing partners and suppliers
Spot risks early, propose fixes, and elevate to leadership with clear next steps
Keep stakeholders aligned with status updates, project docs, and executive summaries
What We're Looking For
3-5+ years of project management experience on connected hardware, IoT, or hardware + software products
Hands-on experience with customer-facing integrations or deployments, such as APIs, SSO, networking, or SaaS platform integrations, and taking projects through to customer go-live
Enough technical fluency to challenge scope and timelines with Engineering
Experience with project management tools like monday.com, Jira, Smartsheet, or Asana
Commercial awareness: you prioritize by business impact, not just deadlines
Comfort working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment and adapting process to fit the project
Clear written and verbal communication, including presenting status and risk to senior leadership
Experience managing vendors and third-party deliverables
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Have
Experience in workplace technology, unified communications, or smart office products
Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery experience, including sprint planning
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
Experience supporting international or multi-region teams and customers
What We Offer
Performance-based bonus opportunity, with clear paths to grow and take on more scope as you deliver
Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus PTO covering vacation, personal, holiday, and sick days
100% paid parental leave, along with 401(k) and professional development support (including complimentary LinkedIn Learning access)
An entrepreneurial, low hierarchy environment with visibility to the leadership team and a real voice in how things get built
A fast-growing company where you can grow quickly alongside it
