About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead challenging technology projects in Paarl . This role requires a deep understanding of technical processes, software development lifecycles, and infrastructure management. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of complex technical solutions, coordinating engineering teams, and managing project timelines and budgets effectively. This is a critical role for driving technological innovation and ensuring the seamless integration of new systems within the organization's infrastructure in the Western Cape .

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects from initiation to closure within Paarl .

Define technical project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall IT strategy.

Coordinate and manage cross-functional technical teams, including developers, engineers, and QA specialists.

Develop detailed project schedules, track progress, and manage project budgets.

Identify technical risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical information into understandable terms.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management , with a strong emphasis on technical projects.

Proven experience managing software development, system integration, or IT infrastructure projects.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and communicate complex technical information.
