Bring advanced Micro-CT technology to researchers, engineers, and innovators solving complex scientific and industrial challenges. Our client is seeking a Micro-CT subject-matter expert with a strong commercial mindset who can identify opportunities, engage technical customers, and turn complex application needs into successful capital-equipment sales.
This is not simply an applications or demonstration role. Why You Should Apply
Own the growth of a specialized Micro-CT product portfolio across the Americas
Work with leading researchers, universities, technology companies, and industrial customers
Influence approximately $1M capital-equipment opportunities
Collaborate with global Micro-CT product, applications, marketing, and regional sales teams
Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentive compensation
Medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401(k), and 3 weeks' vacation
What You'll Be Doing
Drive Micro-CT business development and sales growth across the U.S. and Canada
Identify, qualify, and develop new Micro-CT opportunities and maintain an active sales pipeline
Engage scientists, engineers, principal investigators, and technical decision-makers to understand applications and business needs
Translate customer requirements into compelling Micro-CT solutions and value propositions

Help customers build technical justification, internal support, and funding for capital-equipment purchases
Partner with regional sales managers to advance qualified opportunities through the sales process
Develop relationships with key opinion leaders and strategic accounts
Present at customer meetings, conferences, workshops, and technical events
Monitor competitors and provide market intelligence to global product leadership
Travel regularly throughout the Americas to develop and advance customer opportunities
About You
Hands-on, applications, or sales experience with Micro-CT / X-ray computed tomography technology
Strong understanding of Micro-CT principles and the ability to quickly learn a specialized product portfolio
Experience may come from a Micro-CT manufacturer, laboratory, university, research organization, medical imaging environment, or industrial applications setting
Commercially driven and comfortable advancing technical discussions toward funded purchasing decisions
Strong business-development instincts; able to create opportunities rather than simply support existing ones
Confident presenting and communicating with both highly experienced technical users and customers new to Micro-CT
Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, Natural Sciences, or related discipline required; advanced degree preferred
Experience with scientific instrumentation or capital equipment strongly preferred
Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the territory
Must live within convenient access of a major U.S. airport
Candidates with experience on larger-format Micro-CT systems are encouraged to apply. Experience does not need to be limited to our client's specific Micro-CT segment.
