Seamstress/Seamster PositionWe are seeking a skilled part-time Seamstress/Seamster for an established company on the Southside of Jacksonville, FL. This position will include completing alterations, cutting fabric, measuring customers for custom clothes/alterations, operating a sewing machine, and hand sewing.Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 9am to 6pm & Saturday, 9am to 4pm flexible schedule - Part timePay: $20-30/hr depending on experienceJob Duties of the Seamstress/Seamster:Taking accurate measurements using a measuring tape.Safely operate a variety of sewing equipment.Complete alterations of regular types and evening dresses and wedding dressesCut different types and styles of fabrics.Operating a sewing machine.Skills and Qualifications of the Seamstress/Seamster:Proven experience operating a sewing machine.Must be able to use and read measuring tapes.Knowledge of fabrics.High attention to detail.Very good hand-eye coordination.This is a Temp-to-Hire position and the client offers benefits once Hired In.This is a drug-free workplace.
