Job description
Technical Support Sales EngineerResponsibilities:Develop strong technical knowledge of product lines, including emergency lighting controls and inverter systemsProvide technical support to customers, sales teams, and engineers regarding product application, design, and troubleshootingCreate and revise technical documentation, including product manuals, specifications, submittals, and technical briefsSupport customer demonstrations, product evaluations, and turnkey project executionDeliver technical presentations and training sessions via phone, virtual meetings, in-person visits, and trade showsCollaborate with National Sales Managers to develop sales proposals and customer solutionsAssist in identifying customer requirements and recommending appropriate product applications or alternative solutionsMaintain strong customer relationships and provide ongoing technical support throughout the sales cycleTravel as required (approximately 30%) to support customer needs, training, and project activitiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent technical work experience3+ years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or customer-facing technical supportStrong mechanical and technical aptitude with understanding of electrical systems or circuitryExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to troubleshoot basic technical issues and provide effective solutionsStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working in a results-driven, team-oriented environmentAbility to travel up to 30%Preferred Qualifications:Experience in outside sales or manufacturing equipment salesBackground in electrical applications, lighting controls, or power systemsFamiliarity with emergency lighting systems, inverters, or related technologiesExperience supporting engineers, contractors, or distributor networksStrong understanding of competitive positioning and technical product comparisonEnail your resume to LaciancaLiberty Personnel Services
