In our pursuit of becoming the most respected and premier motorsports engineering organization in the world, we are looking for highly motivated applicants for our open positions.TRD is looking for a highly motivated, initiative-taking, and experienced Teardown/NDT (nondestructive testing)/Sub-Assembly Technician.Key Responsibilities:Adapt to a constantly changing fast-paced work environment while meeting production schedules.Disassembly of TRD accessories and engine parts (Teardown) following processes and techniques as defined by Engineering.Nondestructive testing of TRD accessories and engine parts (NDT) following processes and techniques as defined by Engineering.Confirmation of parts mileages and matching to mileage limits for each build/spec.Assembling required components to build plan schedulePerform testing and inspection of components using bespoke test equipment.Perform assembly or disassembly of various sub-assembly components.Update electronic build books with component information. Including and not limited to, parts issuance to proper work orders, etcResponsible for the continuous improvement of engine build teardown/NDT/assembly processes and procedures.Inter Department cooperation.Input regarding teardown/NDT/assembly tooling.Taking ownership of attention to detail, quality, etc.Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.Qualifications:The candidate will have:Minimum High School Diploma or GED or Vocational School trainingBasic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access)Minimum five years' experience in racing engine build environment is desired.Hands on engine build experience is desired.Mechanical Skills: Must have strong mechanical skills; ability to proficiently use all build related tools.Interpersonal Skills: Including strong listening skills; open-mindedness; team working and language skills necessary to facilitate effective cooperation between Associate and departments.Must be initiative-taking and able to work unsupervised and meet deadlines.Must have the patience and diligence to achieve the best results possible.Physical Requirements:Standing-Frequent/Intermittent Up to 3 hours per dayWalking-Occasionally/Intermittent Up to 3 hours per daySitting- Occasionally/IntermittentLifting- Up to 50 lbs. Occasionally/IntermittentCarrying up to 50 lbs. Occasionally/IntermittentPushing/Pulling-between 50-100 lbs.
