Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.What You'll DoAdhere to all safety standards (company, OSHA, MSHA) and PPE requirementsPerform welding using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SAWRepair and maintain equipment and structuresInterpret blueprints, job plans, and welding proceduresPrepare materials and perform quality weld inspectionsOperate shop/field equipment (cranes, forklifts, cutting tools)Support rigging, preventative maintenance, and mechanical tasksWork in elevated, confined, and outdoor environmentsComplete required training, certifications, and documentationCollaborate with team members to ensure safe, efficient executionWhat You BringHigh school diploma or GED preferredMulti-process welding experienceAbility to read technical documents and proceduresStrong safety focus and attention to detailAbility to work in physically demanding conditionsWillingness to work overtime and obtain equipment certificationsThe National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) testing is required for all hourly applicants of Nutrien. Applicants must complete this test and meet a minimum of 4 in Graphic Literacy, 5 on Applied Mathematics and 5 on Workplace Documents to be considered eligible for employment with Nutrien.
