Job description
We are seeking an experienced Technology Lead / Data Architect with strong expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, and cloud data platforms. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions, leading technical teams, and ensuring successful delivery throughout the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable cloud-based data architecture and solutions.
Develop and maintain data solutions using Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, Spark, and Scala.
Build and optimize Databricks and SQL-based data warehouses following industry best practices.
Develop complex data transformations using Databricks.
Work hands-on with AWS cloud services and data platforms.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Lead teams in implementing solutions according to defined architecture and design.
Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile, and Lean development methodologies.
Participate in solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and code/design reviews.
Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Experience with data warehouse architecture and development
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may substitute for each year of education.
5+ years of IT experience.
5+ years of experience implementing Databricks, AWS/Azure, Scala, Spark, Snowflake, SQL, and Python.
3+ years of experience building Databricks and SQL-based data warehouses.
Hands-on experience developing complex transformations using Databricks.
Hands-on experience with AWS/AWS Cloud.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Lean methodologies.
Experience leading technical teams through solution implementation.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
