Telecom Tower Technician IIIOur Telecommunications Group has been at the forefront of creating a new generation of wireless communication infrastructure for over 40 years. These services include site acquisition, design, and construction, to full operations, maintenance, and deconstruction.ResponsibilitiesMust maintain and enforce the company's safety program, ensure daily job site safety plans are reviewed and followed. Immediately stops work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist.Assist Crew Foreman to ensure quality service to clientsRecognize and perform duties within OSHA safety guidelines as well as all applicable safety laws and policiesWork effectively both individually and with other crew membersHandle transportation of equipmentPerforms other related duties as required and assignedTravel up to 100%QualificationsSuccessful completion and passing score of all mandatory company certifications are requiredMinimum of three (3) years of experience as a tower climber is requiredAbility to climb, at least, a 250' telecommunications tower requiredValid Driver's License is requiredTechnical knowledge of wireless telecommunications products requiredCurrent ComTrain or equivalent certification in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue is requiredCapable of being entrusted with company assets and confidential information requiredWillingness to work in hot and cold weather conditions for long periods of time requiredAnritsu Certification preferredPIM Certification preferredCPR/First Aid Certification preferredNWSA Certification preferredOSHA 10 Hour Certification preferred (Ability to demonstrate knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines)Willingness to take on and learn new tasks, as neededAbility to multi-task in a demanding environmentMilitary communications, electronics troubleshooting, fiber optics or other related construction experience is preferredAbility to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays, and evening hoursAbility to crouch, kneel, twist, reach, grasp and climb with both hands and legs on a daily basis is requiredAvailability to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays and evening hours requiredTechnical knowledge of wireless telecommunications products requiredExcel, Word and Outlook Microsoft experience preferredCompensation Details:$29 - $31The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
