Key business partner for the Operations business responsible for the oversight of Cost of Goods Sold-related Operations spend. Perform analyses to enable the business to make informed business decisions and identify and drive efficiencies.
Partner across the Supply Chain business, providing financial guidance to optimize business profitability. In this capacity, also help to educate the business on financial matters to ensure they understand their contributions to drive business results.
~ Forecasting for cost/inventory, standard cost-related items
~ Analyze refurbished game costs to determine financial return on investment
~ Leverage data analyses to help the business prioritize their portfolio to deliver their financial commitments
~ Expedited Freight
~ Cross-functional business partner on rework charges for Raw Materials, WIP, etc. Support the business in identifying risk and opportunities.
~ Vetting of Procurement’s cost per platform forecast versus production actuals. Adjust cost per platform forecast when average BOM varies to actual production or when favorable vendor pricing is not achieved.
~ Oracle improvement IT/Cost Accounting projects Production Review.
~ Ensure management oversight of production review and reporting that ensures costs per platform are accurate
Direct materials cost is within expectation of forecasted costs per unit based upon expected standard cost changes
Annual Standard Cost Changes on Raw Materials
Ensure alignment with Procurement’s expected cost per unit
Lead project to change standard cost changes from monthly back to quarterly to minimize the effort involved with monthly standard cost changes
Raw Materials Obsolescence Review:
Quarterly review with Shared Services Accounting – Global Close & Controls team
Bachelor degree in related field.
Supply Chain finance experience is preferred
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business partners including manufacturing, demand/supply planning, sourcing, commercial finance, purchasing, etc.
Knowledge of ERP and financial reporting systems (e.g. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills as well as the ability to manage large data sets.
Experience in SQL and AI is highly preferred as these tools are most beneficial to manage and analyze our information into more manageable key takeaways
