Position: Software Engineer

Remote within the following locations: DC, FL, GA, MD, TX, VA
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field required.
Overview: Kreative Technologies is looking for a Software Engineer to design, build and maintain software for our clients systems. You will turn requirements into working, tested code as part of an Agile team.
The ideal candidate is a capable problem-solver who writes clean code and enjoys learning. You should be comfortable owning features and collaborating closely with teammates.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Designs, develops and tests software features and fixes.
• Builds and maintains APIs, services and database interactions.
• Writes unit and integration tests.
• Participates in code reviews and design discussions.
• Troubleshoots defects and supports production issues.
• Participates in sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Documents code and technical changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with Java, C#, Python or a similar language.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Git and Agile development practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Continually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience supporting federal government contracts.
Compensation: $73,588 – $81,765 per year
