Job description
Weatherby Healthcare seeks a nephrology locum tenens physician for inpatient coverage in Oakland, CA. Shifts run weekdays 8am–5pm with weekend coverage Fri 5pm–Mon 8am. You will manage 8–10 patients daily, with 100% telehealth support for inpatient nephrology and dialysis care.
Responsibilities include chronic and acute adult care with observation status; potential for additional weekends into 2027. Travel and housing expenses are prepaid; hospital privileges required.
