The Growth Revive Psychotherapy Center is looking for a dedicated and skilled Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. Work Environment
This role is completely remote, providing the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients across various demographics through telehealth platforms. You will engage in video sessions, phone consultations, and online chats, making use of secure electronic health record (EHR) systems to document and track patient progress. The remote setting empowers counselors to create a balanced work-life integration, while still being part of a cohesive and vibrant team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine client mental health status, tailoring sessions to meet each individual’s needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
Provide consistent follow-up and support to clients during scheduled telehealth sessions, equipping them with coping tools and strategies to manage their conditions.
Facilitate referrals for clients requiring additional support or specialized services, such as medication evaluations with psychiatrists.
Maintain detailed documentation within our EHR system, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss case management strategies and share insights for best practices in teletherapy.
Engage in continued professional development opportunities, enhancing your skill set and ability to deliver high-quality care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your role will involve working with a diverse group of clients, including those dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, substance use issues, PTSD, eating disorders, and other mental health challenges. Understanding the cultural context and unique backgrounds of clients is essential to delivering effective, person-centered care. As a counselor, you will empower clients to open up about their journeys, ensuring they feel heard and validated in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program.
Current and valid licensure from the state of New York as a LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
A minimum of four years of relevant experience in a counseling role, preferably in a mental health setting.
Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidenced-based treatment methodologies.
Experience in providing both individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally competent practices.
Exceptional skills in crisis intervention, with the ability to remain composed in stressful situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and technology-driven therapeutic practices.
Commitment to ethical guidelines, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions.
Preferred Experience
Experience in telehealth settings or use of digital tools to facilitate therapy.
Demonstrated effectiveness in engaging and fostering therapeutic alliances with clients virtually.
Knowledge of additional therapeutic modalities (e.G., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.) and intervention techniques.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with expertise and experience.
