Compassionate Connections Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telehealth Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for a full-time position. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies that address each client’s unique mental health challenges.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused methods.
Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that client records are up-to-date and accurately reflect their treatment progress.
Collaborate with other mental health professionals and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, sharing insights and strategies that contribute to improved patient outcomes.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training workshops to keep up with the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will primarily focus on a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. By providing accessible and sensitive care, you will help clients navigate their challenges and promote their mental wellness. Our goal is to reduce barriers to care for those who are underserved and ensure a supportive environment for all.
Qualifications
A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of client needs and therapeutic approaches.
Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) software and related telehealth technologies to maintain client information and session notes.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse clientele and build strong therapeutic relationships.
A strong commitment to ethical practices and ongoing professional growth.
Preferred Experience
Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling is highly desirable.
Adept at utilizing various therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the specific needs of clients.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
