Remote Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)Fully Remote | Patient-Focused TelehealthLooking for a remote opportunity where you can continue making a difference in patients' lives from home?We're seeking compassionate, tech-savvy Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join a rapidly growing telehealth program. In this role, you'll be the first point of support for patients as they navigate at-home health monitoring, providing guidance, education, and exceptional customer care.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CMAs who enjoy patient interaction, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want the flexibility of working remotely while continuing to utilize their clinical skills.What You'll DoSupport patients through a virtual healthcare programHandle high-volume inbound calls with professionalism and empathyGuide patients through at-home testing and monitoring equipmentCollect and document patient vital signs accuratelyIdentify out-of-range vitals and escalate concerns appropriatelyUtilize EMR and telehealth platforms to maintain accurate recordsDeliver an outstanding patient experience while maintaining HIPAA complianceWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsActive CMA certification from AAMA, AMT, NHA, NRCMA, or NCCTMinimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experienceStrong clinical knowledge with the ability to recognize abnormal vital signsExcellent communication and patient service skillsComfortable working independently in a remote environmentReliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated workspaceStrong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsPrevious telehealth or remote healthcare experienceExperience with Athena or other EMR systemsHIPAA Compliant workspaceJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
