Remote Oncology Triage RN Opportunity | $39/HR | Work From Home

nPay Rate: $39/Hour

nSchedule: Monday-Friday

nHours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM CST

nLocation: Remote (Work from Home)

nMust reside in the Greater Houston, TX area and be available to attend training and occasional onsite meetings in The Woodlands, TX.

nWhat You'll Be Doing

nAs a Remote Oncology Triage RN, you'll serve as a trusted resource and advocate for oncology patients, helping them navigate treatment and symptom management while coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams.

nKey Responsibilities:

n• Conduct telephonic oncology assessments and triage

n• Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and symptom management

n• Coordinate care across providers, specialists, and support services

n• Identify barriers to care and connect patients with resources

n• Document all patient interactions accurately within the EMR

n• Support patients and caregivers throughout the cancer care continuum

n• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes

n• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment

nRequired Qualifications

nActive, unrestricted RN License in Texas or another Compact State

nMinimum of 3 years of nursing experience

nAt least 2 recent years of dedicated Oncology/Hematology experience (Outpatient Oncology Clinic or Hospital Oncology Unit)

nOncology Certified Nurse (OCN) OR willingness to obtain certification within 1 year

nStrong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills

nExperience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office

nExcellent communication and patient education skills

nAbility to work independently from a HIPAA-compliant home office

nReliable high-speed internet connection

nAbility to attend onsite training and meetings in The Woodlands, TX

nPreferred Qualifications
