TeleMedicine Oncology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 8 Pay Rate: $309.43 - $334.95
This facility is seeking a telemedicine oncology physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: Monday - Friday (0815 – first patient; 1630 – last appointment)
Practice Setting: Hospital
Type of cases and required procedures: All aspects of diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment of Hematology/Oncology patients. Medical director oversight for both the Oncology/Hematology Clinic and Infusion Services. The Infusion Center requires a medical director on-site for all treatments. The Infusion Center provides chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood/platelet transfusions, hormone therapy, antibiotic therapy, rheumatoid arthritis injections, and therapeutic phlebotomies.
Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): iKnowMed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion)
Certifications required: Board certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Licensure required: California license required
Facility Location
Redding is a city located off Interstate 5 and between the Canadian and Mexican borders. The Sacramento River also goes through this city. During the 1950’s there was a great expansion of the lumber industry and two major dams in the Redding area now known as, the “Whiskeytown Dam” and the “Keswick Dam”, were built.
