Job description

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: Knowledge of chest tubes and dysrhythmia training preferred.
Required Credentials: Crisis Prevention Institute Blue Card (CPI Blue Card) is required for submission.
Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Unit Details: Patient ratios are 4:1 with cath recovery, 6:1 maximum ratio, and may at times be stretched to 7:1. PCTs are available on day and night shifts, and unit clerks are available on day shift. Equipment includes remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps. Procedures include chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Agency staff float first and may float to Ortho/Med-Surg.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
