Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Both medical and surgical skill sets are required. Experience with wound vacs and solid orthopedic experience is required. First-time travelers may be considered only if they have several years of experience caring for postoperative surgical patients, especially orthopedic and gastrointestinal surgeries.
Special Requests: If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. You must fulfill the full 13 week contract. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Primarily cares for postoperative bariatric, orthopedic, spine, general surgery, and gynecologic surgery patients, as well as some medicine patients when beds are available. Receives 10-20 post-ops/day. This unit includes cardiac and O2 monitoring capability. Uses wound vacs and orthopedic equipment. High turnover rate; clinicians must be comfortable with multiple admissions and discharges per shift. Available support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and a unit secretary.
Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling is subject to manager final approval. Expected to work 3/5 winter holidays. Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Float to other units within the clinician’s skill set.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
