Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Strong cardiac telemetry background required. Must be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters. Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips.
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details: Patients include ED holds awaiting placement on a hospital unit, primarily medical-surgical/telemetry. Nurses will care for more telemetry patients than medical-surgical patients. RNs titrate drips; common titratable or set-rate drips include Cardizem, heparin, and amiodarone. No ventilators are used on the unit. No monitor technician is available in the ED. Clinicians may be asked to assist with ED patients, including vital signs, IV starts, and medication administration, but will not be the primary RN for an ED patient assignment.
Shift & Scheduling: Self-scheduling is available but may change from time to time. Four weekend shifts are required in a four-week schedule. Holiday rotation is shared with permanent staff. No call required.
Floating Requirements: First to float to medical-surgical, telemetry, and overflow units, as well as the CRMC and MGMC EDs, as needed.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
