Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience working on a high-risk cardiology unit, managing cardiac drips and caring for TAVR, cath, post-CABG/VATS, and other high-risk telemetry patients. Cardiac drip management required. Sheath pulls required. Central line management required.
Required Credentials: RNs only - Clinicians who obtained an RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted.
Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit Details: The unit cares for cardiac telemetry, high-risk cardiology, and mixed medical patients with underlying cardiac conditions, including post-op open-heart patients and patients with new tracheostomies. Equipment includes BiPAP, chest tubes, and post-CCL devices.
Shift & Scheduling: BJC policy: Every other weekend required. No call. RTO: No greater than 7 days.
Floating Requirements: Floats to any inpatient unit at Memorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial East (Shiloh) as needed to practice competencies.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
