Job description

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 years of Telemetry Unit experience.
• 3 months of Epic experience is required.
• ASN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New Jersey license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >40 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Failed fit tests due to facial hair and the inability to shave automatically disqualifies clinician from proceeding.
Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years (recent) Telemetry experience required. Chest tube/stroke patient experience required.
Required Credentials: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing - Required. Four stroke CEU contact hours are required.
Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled are required. No call.
Floating Requirements: Floats within the facility to like units.
7 days maximum time off

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• NTC (National Telemetry Certification)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
