Job description

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal) and pacemaker placements, stroke patients, amiodarone drips, and Cardizem drips.
Unit Details: Cardiac telemetry unit. Equipment includes Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allyn vital-sign machines.
Shift & Scheduling: 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule: Friday and Saturday for night shifts; Saturday and Sunday for day shifts.
Floating Requirements: Floats to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
