Shift: 6:45 PM - 6:45 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read and interpret EKG strips.
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. Two supervisor references are required at submission; one must be from within the past 12 months and one within the past 3 years. Charge references are accepted. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Unit managers will make the final call on holiday scheduling; holiday time off will be considered but is not guaranteed. Block scheduling is generally not available.
Unit Details: Patients are primarily cardiac, with general overflow. Common drips include stable, non-titrating Cardizem, Amio, and Heparin. The unit does not manage ventilated patients. A hospitalist or intensivist is in-house. No IV team is available. Respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years). Extra shifts are available. Self-scheduling is used, but schedules are not finalized until the manager balances them. Schedules are posted 4 weeks in advance. Travelers can access their schedules from home, make themselves available for extra shifts, and trade shifts with other staff.
Floating Requirements: The clinician is first to float and floats to MedSurg and Tele.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
