Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required with any experience within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Nevada license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of recent inpatient telemetry/PCU experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience caring for typical patient populations and common diagnoses/treatments, including pre-/post-cath care, CHF, AKI, COPD, CVA, and alcohol withdrawal, preferred.
Unit Details: CCTs monitor ECG rhythms on telemetry patients 24/7; ACTs assist with transport, admissions/discharges, IV and Foley insertion, ADLs, and limited medication administration. Patient population includes CHF, alcohol withdrawal, NSTEMI, sepsis, dysrhythmias, pneumonia, COPD, Covid, and OHS patients once downgraded from ICU. Includes post-procedure care for pacemakers, ablations, and cath lab patients. Uses non-titratable cardiac medication drips including Cardizem, Lasix, and Nitro.
Shift & Scheduling: No call required. Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends; major holidays may be required. Required to pick up 1 additional shift during each 4-week schedule period.
Floating Requirements: May float to intensive care units for a telemetry/medical appropriate assignment, medical-surgical units, and Renown South Meadows, up to competency level.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
