Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Special Requests: An interview may not be available before an offer. Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Previous employment must be disclosed on the resume or elsewhere in the submission for a DNU check. Daily parking costs $15+/day. On- and off-campus garages and lots cost $95-$120 per month. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling; self-scheduling is based on unit needs, and block scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holiday coverage is required. No call.
Floating Requirements: First to float to like units when needed.
Unit Details: Patient population includes single- and multi-organ transplant patients and LVAD patients. Drips are not titrated; Rituxan and Thymo dosing is performed. Common drips include cardiac drips. RNs read telemetry strips. Equipment includes BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow equipment. Staff are trained to assess using Dopplers for MAPP.
Preferred Skills/Experience: CVT postoperative experience preferred. LVAD experience preferred.
7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days. Maximum consecutive days off: 5
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
