Processing routine financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, advances, loan payments, merchant transactions, etc.) and giving a warm welcome to everyone who comes into the branch are key performances of your position. Exhibits core competencies that result in consistent delivery of positive Customer Interactions, Empowerment and Ownership and demonstrates key professional and performance skills such as Active Listening, effective Oral and Written Communication, Action and Solution Oriented and Thoroughness.Cash Handling & Customer ServiceProvides an Exceptional Customer ExperienceDelivers personalized customer service and consistently look for ways to "WOW" customersTackles a variety of financial transactions ranging from check cashing & cash deposits to loan payments to counting currency and coin accurately.Maintains accurate records of each customer in accordance with the bank's policies and proceduresAnswers customer questions with a can-do attitude, no matter how complex or technicalComplies with all security procedures and bank regulations that apply to your positionMaintains working knowledge of our policies and procedures that apply to your position.Safeguards assigned, branch and customer cash according to Security ProceduresDeposit Product ReferralsHolds financial conversations to determine needs and refer appropriate solutionsIdentifies referral opportunities to maintain relationships and adds value for all customersActively cross sells bank products and servicesParticipates in branch or bank wide campaignsMaintains and submits customer referrals and reports as requiredWorks as a team to meet and exceed individual and team goalsMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Teller I Requirements:6 months or more of experience in cash handling and customer service.Teller II Requirements:1+ year(s) of experience in cash handling and customer service.1+ year(s) of experience in a Financial Institution and/or Teller experience.Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time.
