You will accurately process financial transactions, assist customers with their banking needs, and help maintain the security and integrity of branch operations.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in providing friendly, accurate, and efficient service.What You'll DoProcess customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashingVerify customer information, endorsements, signatures, and account balances to ensure transaction accuracyRespond to customer questions and provide prompt, professional servicePromote and explain bank products and services, including deposit accounts, debit cards, certificates of deposit, and other banking solutionsBalance and maintain an accurate cash drawer in accordance with bank policies and proceduresAssist with ATM balancing, coin machine processing, and cash management activities as assignedProcess night drop deposits and mailed deposits accurately and timelyMaintain customer confidentiality and safeguard sensitive informationSupport branch operations by maintaining forms, supplies, and a professional work environmentFollow all bank policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirementsTravel to assist other banking centers as neededMaintain dependable attendance, punctuality, and professionalismA Day in the Life of a TellerYour day may begin with balancing your cash drawer, preparing your workstation, and getting ready to welcome customers. Throughout the day, you'll assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions while building relationships through friendly and professional service.You may answer questions, identify opportunities to recommend products or services that meet customer needs, and collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth branch operations.
