In this member-facing role, you'll provide friendly service, assist with everyday transactions, and develop skills in cash handling, problem-solving, and financial products.This is a great opportunity to learn credit union operations, gain hands-on experience, and grow toward future opportunities in member service, lending, operations, and beyond.A Day in the Life as a Teller:As a Teller, you'll help create a positive member experience by assisting with deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and direct deposits. You'll answer questions, resolve concerns, handle cash accurately, balance your drawer, and follow procedures that protect our members and the credit union.What We're Looking For:- High school diploma or equivalent.- One month to one year of customer service, cash handling, sales, retail, or related experience preferred.- Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.Schedule:Full-time, non-exempt position with weekday and Saturday availability required.Schedules include weekday shifts between 7:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m., with either rotating Saturdays or every Saturday from 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Candidates working every Saturday receive a half-day off during the week.Pay:$19.57–$21.75 per hourThis position is eligible for an additional $1.00 per hour bilingual pay differential for verified English/Spanish proficiency.Benefits and Perks:- Daytime schedules with no evening shifts and limited weekend hours.- Medical, dental, and vision insurance, including a $0 cost medical plan option.- Paid holidays, vacation and sick pay, bereavement leave, jury duty leave, and volunteer time off.- 401(k) plan with early enrollment eligibility and generous employer match.- Employee loan rate discounts, flexible spending accounts, supplemental insurance options, and early access to earned wages.- Profit sharing, service awards, employee discounts, ample free parking, and wellness resources.- Education and certification assistance to support your professional growth.About Credit Union of Denver:For over 95 years, Credit Union of Denver has supported members as a member-focused financial cooperative.
