Responsibilities include providing personal care, assisting with activities of daily living, making beds, turning and repositioning residents, obtaining and recording vital signs, and observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions.The CNA is responsible for completing required documentation, promptly reporting accidents, injuries, or changes in condition, and answering call lights regardless of assignment.Required QualificationsValid Connecticut CNA certification in good standingMinimum 2 years of experience in senior care/skilled nursingPCC proficientNo history of patient/resident abuse as reported on the State RegistryAbility to read, write, and follow oral and written instructionsStrong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasksReliable, dependable, and able to work well as part of a teamDemonstrates patience, professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward residents and their support networksFlexibility to work various shifts as neededAttendance is a MUST.
