As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle - (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI -
COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not required.
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) performs cardio-pulmonary evaluation, respiratory care, life support and education of the patient, family and public.
Works with in and out patients of all ages with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system following established protocols or the prescription of a physician.
Can perform respiratory care duties in all areas of the hospital.
RequirementDescription:
NRP, BLS, PALS, ACLS- (REQUIRED)
Labor + Delivery/Neonatal Resuscitation Experience- (REQUIRED)
NBRC RRT + NYS License- (REQUIRED)
Associate's in Accredited Respiratory Care Program- (REQUIRED)
Critical Care Proficient- ( REQUIRED)

Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license/certs)
