Job Description
Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Experience: 2+ years of current Registered Respiratory Therapy experience
License: Current RRT Certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS
Must-Have:
- Must be able to work independently with invasive/non-invasive ventilation.
- Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) and manage airways, including assistance with intubations.
- Must perform pulmonary function tests (PFTs).
- Willingness to learn new skills such as home sleep testing and pulmonary rehabilitation.
- At least 6 months of previous travel experience is preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is required.
- Must have your own vehicle.
Description:
This position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a strong background in respiratory care.
The therapist will set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment used in diagnosing and treating respiratory diseases.
The role functions independently and may involve solving varying degrees of problems across patient care areas.
Requested time off during the assignment must be documented prior to submission.
Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two blocks during specified holiday weekends.
The patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric.
The dress code is business casual or personal scrubs of any color.
Compliance with attendance policies is mandatory, where excessive call-offs may lead to termination of the contract.
Every other weekend and holiday work may be required as needed.
