Assembler OpportunityOur client offers an awesome work environment with high morale, excellent leadership, and great benefits perks! They are looking for a skilled Assembler to assist in their production department. Flexible first shift options in Plainview, NY. Choose from:Four 10 hr/days per weekFive 8 hr/days per weekFour 9 hr/days and one 4 hr/day per weekKey Responsibilities:Assembles fabricated components to make subassemblies or assemblies for electrical or electronic systems using hand and electrical tools.Assemble electronic subassemblies according to engineering specifications and work instructionsPerform detailed inspections and testing of assembled components to ensure quality standardsCollaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issuesMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality protocolsDocument assembly processes and test results accurately in company systemsAssist in the continuous improvement of assembly procedures and workflowsSkills and Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training.Experience with Electro/Mechanical assemblies is a plusExperience with wire strippers, crimping tools, and solderingProven experience in electronic assembly, preferably within aerospace or related industriesStrong understanding of electronic components, wiring, and soldering techniquesExcellent attention to detail and manual dexterityAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructionsGood communication skills and a team-oriented attitudeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlinesNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
