Job description

Temporary Assembly Operator ITE Connectivity's Production Operator II is responsible for assembling and testing electronic and mechanical components in accordance with standardized work instructions, manufacturing drawings, and operating procedures. This role requires strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and a continuous improvement mindset.Job Requirements:Must be available to train on 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pmFollow standardized work instructions for the assembly of components in accordance with top/sub level drawings.The testing of electronics/mechanical parts assembly's that require good hand eye coordinationOperating hydraulic pressesRead and comprehending manufacturing drawings and S.O.Ps.5s - Ensure high cleanliness standards are maintained during the shift and on the responsible areas.Demonstrate a mindset of continuous improvement in all duties.Follow all direction and safety protocols.Using microscopes.Use small hand tools.Applies job skills and company policies and procedures.Experience (1+ years preferred). Not RequiredDuties and tasks are varied and semi-routine. 12 hour shift is 1/2 lunch you work 36 hours but you're compensated for 40 hoursRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDRequired good hand eye coordinationUsing microscopes.Use small hand tools.Manufacturing inspection experienceExperience in production environment, as a machinist inspector, or printing press operatorPhysical demands:While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to find, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.Frequently required to stand and stoop, kneel, or crouch, however, the employee shall be mostly standing.Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds unassisted, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds assisted.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for detailed work.Compensation:Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $21 (subject to change dependent on physical location)A comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off and voluntary benefits.Important Notice Regarding Recruitment Fraud:TE Connectivity has become aware of fraudulent recruitment activities being conducted by individuals or organizations falsely claiming to represent TE Connectivity.
