We provide a safe and secure working environment for our staff while helping an at-risk population receive the treatment necessary for success on their road back to a healthy, productive life.
Provides inmates with basic direction in compliance with American Correctional Association (ACA) standards, Management & Training Corporation (MTC), and Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC) directives.
Develop performance objectives and criterion-referenced tests in accordance with established program content, incorporate written and skill assessments.
Review, select and adapt instructional materials to help individuals reach mastery of the competencies required for entry, advancement, and upgrading occupations.
Plan activities to efficiently initiate budget request to assure that all equipment, supplies, and materials are available to support a progressive training schedule.
Execute all applicable forms to adhere to facility procedures.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in the vocation certified to teach, or high school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years’ experience in the vocation being taught and valid secondary teaching certification issued by Florida Department of Education required. Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements.
