Our leadership is not distant but right in your backyard, offering a supportive and collaborative environment.Job Opportunity: Temporary Housekeeping AideRole Overview: The Housekeeping Aide plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional housekeeping services to ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for both facility residents and staff members. This position involves meticulous attention to detail while adhering to high cleanliness standards, infection control protocols, safety measures, and the hazardous communication program.Perform thorough cleaning duties in assigned areas within the facility, including resident rooms and bathrooms, according to specified schedules and established cleanliness benchmarks.Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained to minimize health risks.Efficiently manage time and coordinate tasks with other staff members to minimize disruptions to residents and staff during cleaning procedures.Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area and department, promoting a hygienic and orderly environment.Assist in inventory management by monitoring and replenishing supplies required for effective departmental operations.Proficient in reading labels and following both oral and written instructions in English.Ability to maintain composure and take appropriate actions in high-pressure or stressful situations.Proficient visual assessment skills covering all facets of the facility.Capability to differentiate between smells and temperatures, and responsiveness to audible pages.Physical capabilities including walking, reaching, bending, lifting (up to approximately 40 pounds), grasping, pulling, stretching, stooping, and fine hand coordination.Prior experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with the demands and nuances of such environments.Scholarships and career development opportunitiesGenerous 4 weeks of paid time off7 paid holidaysHealth insurance benefitsShort & long-term disability coverageAccess to Call-a-Doc/24-7 MD telephone serviceEmployee Assistance ProgramLife insurance coverage401K retirement programLongevity credit for dedicated serviceJoin Our Compassionate Team!
