About This Role
The Temporary Seasonal Emergency Department RN at Downey Medical Center provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. This role is ideal for nurses who are flexible and committed to delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures and applicable laws.
Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
Demonstrate professional and supportive behavior.
Participate in problem identification and resolution.
Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
Monitor patient progress based on care plans.
Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
Provide optimal pain control and patient comfort.
Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
