About This Role
The Temporary Seasonal Emergency Department RN at Kaiser Permanente provides professional nursing care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

What You'll Do
Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
Understand team members' scope of practice and "escalate issues as needed."
Mentor, orient, and coach others in unit-specific operations and patient care.
Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
Monitor patient progress and revise care plans based on evaluations.
Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
Act as a resource and mentor to new employees and team members.
