About This Role
The Temporary Seasonal Emergency Department RN at South Bay Medical Center provides professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are flexible and committed to delivering quality patient care.

What You'll Do
Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
Understand team members' scope of practice and escalate issues as appropriate.
Mentor, orient, and coach others in unit-specific operations and patient care activities.
Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
Monitor patient progress based on the care plan and revise as necessary.
Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
Provide optimal pain control and patient comfort.
Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
Education: Associate's Degree (ADN) required
Experience: Experienced level required
Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in California
