This temporary opportunity is designed to support increased customer demand from late October through early January. As a Temporary Part-Time Operations Associate at New Era's NYC Flagship Store in SoHo, you'll ensure the store runs like clockwork by handling inventory, maintaining an organized stockroom, and supporting back-of-house operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives behind the scenes, keeping everything efficient and seamless so the team can deliver an exceptional customer experience.ResponsibilitiesInventory & Stockroom Management: Assist with shipping and receiving, ensuring products are checked, processed, and organized accuratelyMaintain an organized and accessible stockroom, making it easy for the team to locate and replenish productsSupport inventory counts and replenishment to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize shrinkOperational Support: Collaborate with team members to restock the sales floor efficiently and maintain product availabilitySupport loss prevention efforts by adhering to security protocols and maintaining stockroom integrityPerform daily tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, emptying trash, and maintaining a clean, polished environment that reflects New Era's high standardsTeam Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to restock the sales floor efficiently and maintain product availabilityAssist with preparing products for visual merchandising updates and store eventsWorks collaboratively with the store team and may step in to support other functions and areas of the store as needed to meet customer and operational needs. Keep all sensitive matters confidential. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesOperational Excellence: Familiarity with inventory systems and shipping/receiving processes is a plusAbility to follow operational procedures and maintain high standards of organization and accuracyOrganizational Abilities: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentComfortable performing physical tasks, including climbing ladders, bending, squatting, kneeling and lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs.Education and ExperienceA minimum of four (4) years of retail stockroom experienceComfortable performing physical tasks and standing for extended periods of timeStrong attention to detail and a proactive, team-first mindsetAvailability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays from late October through early JanuaryThe retail store operates Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please note that store hours may be adjusted based on business needs, including customer demand and in-store eventsTravel RequirementThe location for this position is 100% on-site in New York, NY0% to 5%; domestic and/or globalThe hourly rate for this posted position is $19.00 per hour and pertains to candidates located in New York City. Actual compensation will fall within this range and is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
