Seasonal Snow Removal OperatorThe Tiverton School Department is seeking dependable, experienced individuals to join our on-call seasonal snow removal team. Seasonal operators are responsible for clearing school parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and other district property using Tiverton School Department equipment.Position SummaryTemporary, on-call seasonal employment (November-April)Non-benefited positionHours vary based on weather conditions and may include overnight, early morning, weekends, and holidaysCompensation: Hourly rate based on qualifications and experienceEssential ResponsibilitiesOperate district-owned plow truckPlow and salt parking lots at school facilitiesWork safely in adverse weather conditionsRespond to snow events with short notice as directed by the Facilities DepartmentQualificationsValid Rhode Island driver's licenseExperience operating snow removal machineryAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in winter conditionsReliable transportation and availability during snow eventsSuccessful completion of required background check and pre-employment requirementsTo ApplySubmit an application through School Spring.
