Job TitleAssist other district employees with a variety of physical and mental demanding tasks. Provide excellent customer service.Reports To: Various SupervisorsDuty Days: Year-RoundWage/Hour Status: Non-ExemptPay Grade: 10 per hourJob Updated: 07/2026Qualifications:Minimum Age Requirement: 16 years oldAbility to follow instructions (written or oral)Ability to comprehend verbal and written EnglishAbility to work collaboratively with othersDemonstrate decision making and problem solving skillsMust be self-motivated, accountable and dependable for the job taskMust be safety conscious and should have a conviction for any safety concernsAbility to maintain emotional stabilityMajor Duties and Responsibilities:Performs general labor duties.Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.Perform physically demanding tasks for an extended period of time.Work in non-air-conditioned environment.Participate in-service trainings offered by Katy ISD.Equipment Used:Personal computer, hand tools, ladder, hand truck, dolly, and pallet jackWorking Conditions:Work outside and inside. Exposure to extreme temperatures, humid conditions, dust, fumes, chemicals, odors, loud noises, and slippery or uneven surfaces. Continual walking and standing: frequent heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
